Exciting weekend! (lots of pics)

This weekend was super exciting!  Friday, we bought a new car.    It's pretty!

Saturday, we took our first family outing with the Whites to head to the pumpkin patch!  We had a great time, despite that it was probably the coldest day since April.  We bundled Oliver up pretty well, but his aversion to socks made it hard to keep his feet covered, but nevertheless, we kept him pretty warm.  Pictures!

Oliver and Ada driving the Wahmbulance!  They were chilly.

"Hmm...what is this thing?" (shortly after, he tried to stick it in his mouth, lol)

"It doesn't taste good, Mommy!"  =(  I love his pouty face!

Sunday we went to church, and visited Oliver's great Aunt and Uncle to pick up some backpacking gear for Levi's upcoming backpacking trip.  Oliver seemed confused as to why we were in the car so much...and why it was a completely different car altogether!

All in all, my little man was a trooper.  He is completely able to veer off his schedule with no problem whatsoever!  Even if he is late for a nap, he calms himself and settles down.  We were even able to eat at a sit down restaurant for the first time on Saturday!  We never attempted it before, just because we figured it was easier just not to deal with it...but I'm glad we did.  Not only did we have a great time and eat some awesome barbecue, but he snoozed the whole time after fussing for about five minutes.  Good boy!

Hope everyone else had a good weekend!

Congrats on the new car! I loved it when we got a mini-van (even though it made me a min-van mom) because it's so great to have more space. Kids have lots of stuff! The pics of your little guy are so adorable. Ezra has the same socks aversion too!
